Messiah the Prince

Jesus doesn't sit enthroned at the Father’s right hand in order to ignore the oval office or our public square.

The gospel was never merely a message of pardon to individual souls. Yet modern political debate acts like Jesus’s only domain is the space between our ears.

We are in desperate need of an informed opinion: someone who knows their Bible inside and out, someone who can clearly point to the boundaries of Christ’s dominion. Before approaching the legion of contemporary writings on Christ’s rule, William Symington invites the reader to first pore over the scriptures. God’s word loudly heralds the Lordship of Christ over his church, the nations, and their rulers, to the end that his glory fills all of his creation.
